A commitment to excellence has been the guiding principle in my career.
I have a general practice with a wide range of people and have treated many different types of psychological conditions. Many of my clients are Physicians, Attorneys, Dentists, Executives / C-suite, Psychologists & Therapists, Business owners & Entrepreneurs, Finance / Wealth-Management Professionals, Accountants, Prominent Celebrities, and Scientists; their significant others, children, and families.
For over 25 years, I’ve helped thousands of individuals, couples, and families live fuller, happier and more productive lives. I have helped people successfully navigate significant life challenges, difficulties, and emerge from crisis even stronger. Therapy with the right person can be the key to turning a negative into a positive.
I have been regarded as an expert in different areas of psychology by conducting extensive research projects, producing high-level professional articles, and presenting at numerous national and international venues.
My goal is to provide high-quality, professional, and compassionate psychological services for those with a wide variety of “psychological conditions,” individual and family problems, and life transitions. In doing so it is my priority to help people grow personally, reduce psychological distress, cope more effectively, and enjoy life and relationships.
In order to effectively grow or change it is essential to understand the importance of multiple spheres of influence on each person’s well-being. It is important to consider not only psychological functioning, but, other important domains such as physical health or biochemical balance, social connectedness, and having a sense of meaning or purpose in life. I also appreciate the significance of childhood and developmental experiences, trauma, family structure, and formative experiences.
The following principles reflect the general experience people have working with me:
I believe that people of any age can change and improve the quality of their lives. I know change is hard and sometimes seems impossible, but people do not have to just endure their situations. As hard as it can be to face, an opportunity for change or growth exists in most situations. Overcoming personal issues can lead to a better, richer life.
